Rnd 2: 8 inc = 16 sc;

Rnd 3: 1 sc, 1 inc = 24 sc;

Rnd 4: 2 sc, 1 inc = 32 sc;

Rnd 5: 32 sc;

Rnd 6: 3 sc, 1 inc = 40 sc;

Rnd 7: 4 sc, 1 inc = 48 sc;

Rnd 8–10 (3 rounds): 48 sc;

Rnd 11: 7 sc, 1 inc = 54 sc;

Rnd 12: 54 sc;

Rnd 13: 8 sc, 1 inc = 60 sc;

Rnd 14–16 (3 rounds): 60 sc;

Rnd 17: 8 sc, 1 dec = 54 sc;

Rnd 18: 54 sc;

Rnd 19: 7 sc, 1 dec = 48 sc;

Rnd 2: 6 inc = 12 sc;

Rnd 3: 1 sc, 1 inc = 18 sc;

Rnd 4: 2 sc, 1 inc = 24 sc;

Rnd 5: 3 sc, 1 inc = 30 sc;

Rnd 6: 4 sc, 1 inc = 36 sc;

Rnd 7: 5 sc, 1 inc = 42 sc;

Rnd 8: 6 sc, 1 inc = 48 sc;

Rnd 9: 7 sc, 1 inc = 54 sc;

Rnd 10–16 (7 rounds): 54 sc;

Rnd 17: 8 sc, 1 inc = 60 sc;

Rnd 18: 9 sc, 1 inc = 66 sc;

Rnd 19–25 (7 rounds): 66 sc.

Insert the safety eyes between Rnds 17 and 18, with 8 stitches between them.

Rnd 26: 9 sc, 1 dec = 60 sc;

Rnd 27: 8 sc, 1 dec = 54 sc;

Rnd 28: 7 sc, 1 dec = 48 sc;

Rnd 29: 1 sc, 1 dec = 32 sc;

Rnd 30: 2 sc, 1 dec = 18 sc.

Stuff the piece.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the head onto the body.

Embroider the eyebrows with Amigurumi yarn 8990 (Black): the longer line between Rnds 5 and 9, and the shorter line between Rnds 5 and 7.

Embroider the eyelashes with Amigurumi yarn 8990 (Black).

Beak

Using Amigurumi yarn 7625 (Chestnut)

Rnd 1: 8 sc into a magic ring;

Rnd 2: 8 inc = 16 sc;

Rnd 3: 2 sc, 4 inc, 4 sc, 4 inc, 2 sc = 24 sc;

Rows 4–5: 24 sc;

Row 6: 5 sc, 1 incT, 11 sc, 1 incT, 6 sc = 28 sc;

Rows 7–8: 28 sc;

Row 9: 5 sc, 1 dec = 24 sc;

Rows 10–11: 24 sc;

Rnd 12: 2 sc, 1 inc = 32 sc;

Rnd 13 (working in FLO): 14 sc, 3 hdc, 1 dc, 3 hdc, 11 sc = 32 stitches;

Add a small amount of stuffing up to Rnd 5.

Sew the beak between Rnds 16 and 23 of the head, with approximately 16 sc between one corner and the other.

Embroider the 2 “openings” between Rnds 7 and 11 with Amigurumi yarn 7148 (Craft).

Arms (2)

Start with Amigurumi yarn 7625 (Chestnut)

Rnd 1: 6 sc into a magic ring;

Rnd 2: 6 inc = 12 sc;

Rnd 3: 12 inc = 24 sc;

Rnd 4–5: 24 sc;

Rnd 6: 4 dec, 4 sc, 4 dec, 4 sc = 16 sc;

Rnd 7: 8 dec = 8 sc.

Change to Amigurumi yarn 7148 (Craft)

Rnd 8: 8 sc;

Rnd 9: 8 inc = 16 sc.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Stuff up to Rnd 7.

Fold and sew onto the body.

Legs (2)

Start with Amigurumi yarn 7625 (Chestnut)

Chain 6.

Rnd 1: skip 1 ch, 4 sc, 1 incT in the last ch, on the other side of the chain: 4 sc, 1 incT = 14 sc;

Rnd 2: 1 sc, 1 inc = 21 sc;

Rnd 3: 9 sc, 1 inc, 11 sc = 22 sc;

Rnd 4: 22 sc;

Rnd 5: 10 sc, 1 dec, 8 sc, 1 dec = 20 sc;

Rnd 6: 1 dec, 7 sc, 1 dec, 9 sc = 18 sc;

Rnd 7: 4 dec, 10 sc = 14 sc;

Rnd 8: 3 dec, 6 sc, 1 dec = 10 sc;

Rnd 9: 4 sl st, 6 sc = 10 stitches.

Change to Amigurumi yarn 7148 (Craft)

Rnd 10: 10 sc.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
