Examples of how to read this pattern:
R0: XX sc; → Single round (work the indicated stitches)
R0 and R0 – XX sc; → 2 identical rounds (work the indicated stitches)
R0 to R00: XX sc; → Rounds with the same sequence (work the indicated stitches)
R0: 0 sc, 1 inc, (00 sc, 2 inc) 5x, 0 sc = XX sc; → Round with repetitions inside parentheses (work the indicated stitches and repeat what is in parentheses the required number of times)
R0: * 1 sc, 1 inc * (XX); → Round with repetition across the entire round (repeat what is between asterisks for the whole round)

To make the hair strands:
Cut strands of Amigurumi Soft yarn #8990 (Black), each measuring about 8 in (20 cm).
Attach these strands with a small knot to each of the loops left on R3, R5, R9, R13, and R16.
Sew the base of the hair to the head between R8 and R24.
At this stage, you'll decide how much hair you want your doll to have. Adding more strands will make the hair fuller, while fewer strands will make it thinner.
Arms (2)

To make the sleeve, attach the yarn #5994 (Folklore) to the opening at R5 and work as follows:

R2 to R9 (8 rounds): 20 sc
R10 – FLO: 20 sc
R11 & R12: 20 sc
Fasten off.
Make the other sleeve the same way.
Hat
With Amigurumi Soft yarn #3542 (Love)
Work in back-and-forth rows.
R1: Ch 42 + 3 ch to turn, skip the first 3 ch (counts as 1 dc), 42 dc = 43 dc
Start each row with 2 ch.
R2 to R10 (9 rows): 43 dc
Fold in half and close the sides with sc.
Fasten off.
Back edge of the hat:
With Amigurumi Soft yarn #3542 (Love)
Ch 20 and attach it to the back of the hat, at the spot that will be positioned at the doll’s neck. Work sc across the entire length of the piece. Finish with 20 ch.
Fasten off.
With Amigurumi Soft yarn #8001 (White), make two small pom-poms and attach one to each end of the chain.
Front edge of the hat:
With Amigurumi Soft yarn #8001 (White)
R1: 1 sc, * 1 inc dc, 1 sc * to eor
Fasten off.
Dress up the doll with the jacket and hat.
