Instruction
Transfer the templates onto tracing paper to use as a reference when working the piece. Follow the arrows on the measurement diagram indicating the direction of work.
Sweater: knit the piece starting from the hem. Work the back and front together in circular rows. Use Marfim yarn 9010 (Crimson) and cast on 151 sts on aUS 10 (7.0 mm) circular needle. Join the loop with a simple decrease (sd), leaving 150 sts on the needle. Use a marker to indicate the beginning of each row. Work in garter stitch, following diagram 1 and the repeat stitches for 12.2 in (31 cm). On the next row, leave the 75 sts (back) on the US 10 (7.0 mm) circular needle. Place the next 75 sts (front) on a crochet hook to continue later on the upper part of the front.
Continue the upper back: working on the 75 sts left on the US 10 (7.0 mm) circular needle, knit the upper part in back-and-forth rows in garter stitch, following diagram 2 and the repeat stitches. At 19.7 in (50 cm) from the beginning, bind off all sts.

Scarf: start the piece from the bottom. Use Marfim yarn 9010 (Crimson) and cast on 30 sts on an US 11 (8.0 mm) needle. Knit in garter stitch, following diagram 2 and the repeat stitches in back-and-forth rows. At 82.7 in (210 cm) from the beginning, bind off all sts.
