Crochet hook – 3.5 mm;
1 Oval Swivel Clasp – Color: Gold;
1 Magnetic Snap – Color 20;

Stitches used:
Chain Stitch (ch). Single Crochet (sc): insert the hk, yo, pull up a loop, yo again, pull through all loops. Double Crochet (dc): yo, insert the hk, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops, yo again, pull through all loops. Tassel: Cut as many yarn strands as requested, at the indicated length. Tie all the strands in the center, leaving a tail to secure the tassel. Fold the strands in half, wrap another strand several times 1 cm (0.39″) away from the fold, and secure it tightly so that it does not come loose. Pattern Stitch: follow the diagram.
Gauge: a 10 cm (3.94″) square in Pattern st using a 3.5 mm hk = 20 sts x 11 rows.
Size: 26 cm (10.2″) wide x 15 cm (5.91″) high.
Instructions
Clutch:
Ch 40, ch 3 to turn, and work in pattern st following the diagram.
Repeat from * to * in the direction of the sts (10x).
At 29 cm (11.4″) from the beginning, without cutting the yarn, work 4 rnds of sc all around the piece; increase 2 sc in every corner to keep the piece flat.

Tassel:
Cut 30 strands of yarn, each one 30 cm (11.8″) long, and make a tassel following the pattern.
Finishing:
Line the wrong side of the piece with the fabric, leaving only 0.5 cm (0.2″) unlined all around.
Fold the piece as indicated in the diagram and sew the sides 13 cm (5.12″) up from the fold.
Attach the swivel clasp to the tassel and attach it to one side of the clutch (see picture).
Sew one part of the magnetic snap to the center of the unsewn flap, 1 cm (0.39″) away from the edge.
Attach the other part of the snap to the base of the clutch.
