Instructions:
Head
Begin with Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 7529 (Terracota)
Work in an oval.
Make 4 ch, and starting from the 2nd ch from the hook:
Rnd 1: 2 sc, 1 tr inc in the last ch, on the other side of the chains: 1 sc, 2 inc = 10 sc
Rnd 2: 3 sc, 1 inc, 4 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc = 12 sc
Change to Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 7076 (Caramelito)
Rnd 3: 12 sc
Rnd 4: *1 sc, 1 inc* = 18 sc
Rnd 5: 18 sc
Rnd 6: *2 sc, 1 inc* = 24 sc
Rnd 7–11 (5 rnds): 24 sc
Rnd 12: *2 sc, 1 dec* = 18 sc
Rnd 13: *1 sc, 1 dec* = 12 sc
Stuff.
Rnd 14: 6 dec = 6 sc
Finish with inverted magic ring.
Embroider the eyes using a tapestry needle and Rubi yarn 8990 (Black), diagonally, catching approximately 2 stitches, at the height of Rnd 8, with 4 visible stitches of separation between them.
Embroider the nose and mouth using a tapestry needle and Rubi yarn 8990 (Black), so that they are centered on the snout.

Fasten off.
Cap
With Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 3635 (Paixão)
Work in rows back and forth, starting at the center stitch of the front section.
Using the loops left from Rnd 12 of the body:
Rnd 1: 18 inc = 36 sc
Rnd 2–10 (9 rnds): 36 sc
Fold, sew closed with hand stitches, and turn right side out.
Fasten off.
Cap Brim
With Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 3635 (Paixão)
Work in rows back and forth.
Row 1: 23 sc around the entire cap
Change to Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 8001 (White)
Row 2: 23 sc around the entire cap
Fasten off.
Stuff the body.
Sew the head onto the body, centering it.
Ears (2)
With Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 7529 (Terracota)
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring.
Rnd 2: 6 inc = 12 sc
Rnd 3: 12 sc
Fold and close the sides with 6 sc
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew the ears onto the head, centering them approximately at the height of Rnd 10–11, with 10 visible stitches of separation.
Legs (2)
Begin with Amigurumi Chenille yarn color 7529 (Terracota)
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring.

Place around the capybara’s neck.
