Examples of how to read this pattern:
R0: XX sc; → Single round (work the indicated stitches)
R0 and R0 – XX sc; → 2 identical rounds (work the indicated stitches)
R0 to R00: XX sc; → Rounds with the same sequence (work the indicated stitches)
R0: 0 sc, 1 inc, (00 sc, 2 inc) 5x, 0 sc = XX sc; → Round with repetitions inside parentheses (work the indicated stitches and repeat what is in parentheses the required number of times)
R0: * 1 sc, 1 inc * (XX); → Round with repetition across the entire round (repeat what is between asterisks for the whole round)

Fold in half and close the sides with 4 sc.
Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Body
With Amigurumi yarn #8990 (Black)
Start with the legs:
R1: 6 sc inside of a magic ring
R2: 6 inc = 12 sc
Note: pm on first sc
R3 to R5: 12 sc
Fasten off the first leg.
Make the second leg the same way, but do not fasten off.
In the next round, join the legs.
R6: 12 sc on the first leg, 12 sc on the second leg = 24 sc.
R7: * 3 sc, 1 inc * to eor = 30 sc
R8: * 4 sc, 1 inc * to eor = 36 sc
R9 to R12: 36 sc
R13: * 4 sc, 1 dec * to eor = 30 sc
R14: 30 sc
R15: * 3 sc, 1 dec * to eor = 24 sc
R16: 24 sc

Hat
With Amigurumi yarn #4456 (Orange)
Work in back-in-forth rows.
Ch 20, start in the 3rd ch from the hook, make:
R1: Count the 2 skipped ch as 1 hdc, 18 hdc, turn = 19 hdc.
R2 to R20 – BLO: 19 hdc, turn.
R21 to R30 – BLO: 10 hdc, turn.
There will be some unworked stitches; this area will be at the forehead.
Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Close the top of the hat by weaving the yarn through the side stitches and pulling tight, as if closing a reverse magic ring. With the same yarn, sew the last row to the first one.
Ch 14, turn, 13 sc.
Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Sew at the beginning of the hat. This part will be at the neck.
Work one round of sc all around the hat, both along the bottom edge and around the face opening.
Pumpkin Stem
With Amigurumi yarn #5398 (Moss)
R1: 6 sc inside of a magic ring
R2 to R6: 6 sc
R7: 6 inc = 12 sc
R8: 12 sc
Ch 10 and attach to the pumpkin stem.
Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Sew it to the top of the hat.
Place the hat on the cat.
Ears (2)
With Amigurumi yarn #8990 (Black)
R1: 4 sc inside of a magic ring
R2: * 1 inc, 1 sc * to eor = 6 sc
Note: pm on first sc
R3: * 1 inc, 2 sc * to eor = 8 sc
R4: * 1 inc, 3 sc * to eor = 10 sc
R5: * 1 inc, 4 sc * to eor = 12 sc
R6: * 1 inc, 5 sc * to eor = 14 sc
Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Sew it onto the hat.
Tail

Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing.
Sew to the back of the body between rounds 9 and 12.
