Examples of how to read this pattern:
Rnd 0 – XX sc (XX) –> Single round (follow the indicated stitches).
Rnds 0 and 0 (2 rnds): XX sc (XX) –> 2 identical rounds (follow the indicated stitches).
Rnds 0 to 0 (00 rnds): XX sc (XX) –> Rounds with the same sequence (follow the indicated stitches).
Rnd 0 – XX sc, 1 inc, (XX sc, 2 inc) 5x, XX sc (XX) –> Round with repetitions between parentheses (follow the indicated stitches and repeat what is between parentheses the requested number of times).
Rnd 0 – *XX sc, 1 dec* to eor (XX) –> Round with repetitions throughout (repeat what is between the asterisks until the end of the round).
Abbreviations:
BLO = Crochet through the Back Loops Only
ch = Chain Stitch
dec = Decrease
inc = Increase
pm = Place marker
rnd = Round
rnds = Rounds
sc = Single Crochet
sl st = Slip Stitch
to eor = To end of round
Approximate size: 9.45″ (24 cm) tall.

Arms (Make 2)
Use Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8212 (Cromado).
Rnd 1: 6 sc into the magic ring.
Rnd 2: 6 inc – Note: pm on 1st sc (12)

Rnds 4 and 5 (2 rnds): 12 sc (12)
Rnd 6: *4 sc, 1 dec* to eor (10)

Legs (Make 2), Body, and Head
Use Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8212 (Cromado).
Rnd 1: 8 sc into the magic ring.
Rnd 2: 8 inc – Note: pm on 1st sc (16)
Rnd 3: BLO 16 sc (16)
Rnds 4 to 6 (3 rnds): 16 sc (16)
Fasten off the 1st leg. Leave approximately 5.91″ (15 cm) of yarn.
Make the 2nd leg and do not cut the yarn.
Join the legs in the next rnd.
Rnd 7: On the 1st leg, skip 1 stitch and work (1 inc, 6 sc) 2x, 1 inc (there will be 1 sc unworked). On the 2nd leg, skip 1 stitch and work (1 inc, 6 sc) 2x, 1 inc (36)
Using the yarn left from the 1st leg, close the gap between the legs.
Rnd 8: 3 sc, 1 inc, (5 sc, 1 inc) 2x, 4 sc, 1 inc, (5 sc, 1 inc) 2x, 3 sc (42)

Attach the arms in the next rnd.

Stuff the legs and make 20 sl st through the back loops to reinforce the neck.
Do not cut the yarn and continue to make the head.

Set the work aside and use the other end of the skein to start the trunk.
Trunk
Use Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8212 (Cromado).
Attach the yarn to the ch–7 space.
Rnd 1: 7 sc along the bottom, 1 sc on the side, 7 sc along the top, 1 sc on the side (16)
Rnds 2 to 4 (3 rnds): 16 sc – Note: pm on 1st sc (16)
Rnd 5: *1 dec, 6 sc* to eor (14)
Rnd 6: 14 sc (14)
Rnd 7: *1 dec, 5 sc* to eor (12)
Rnd 8: 12 sc (12)

Fasten off and close a reverse magic ring.
If you want to attach it to the belly, leave a tail.
Attach the safety eyes between rnds 25 and 26 of the head, separated by the trunk.
Stuff the body and the trunk and continue crocheting the head from where you stopped.
Continuing the Head
Use Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8212 (Cromado).
Rnd 29: 3 sc, 1 dec, (6 sc, 1 dec) 5x, 3 sc (42)
Rnd 30: 1 dec, 20 sc, 1 dec, 18 sc (40)
Rnd 31: *6 sc, 1 dec* to eor (35)
Rnd 32: 4 sc, 1 dec, 4 sc, attach a folded ear to the head with 2 sc, work 1 sc, 1 dec, (3 sc, 1 dec) 2x, 1 sc, attach the other folded ear to the head with 2 sc, work 4 sc, 1 dec, 1 sc (30)
Rnd 33: 2 sc, 1 dec, (4 sc, 1 dec) 4x, 2 sc (25)
Stuff.
From now on, stuff after each rnd.
Rnd 34: *3 sc, 1 dec* to eor (20)
Rnd 35: *2 sc, 1 dec* to eor (15)
Rnd 36: *1 sc, 1 dec* to eor (10)
Rnd 37: 3 dec (3) – Stitches will be left unworked in the previous rnd.
Fasten off the remaining stitches of the previous rnd together with the 3 stitches of the last rnd by closing a reverse magic ring.
Finishing:
If desired, stitch the ears randomly to the head to secure and shape them.
Also sew the tip of the trunk to the belly.
For the tuft, cut 4 pieces 3.94″ (10 cm) long of Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8212 (Cromado) and attach them to the top of the head.
To make a tail, use Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8212 (Cromado), ch 4 to start, attach it with 1 sl st to the center of the back on rnd 10, then work 4 sl st back along the chain.
Fasten off, tying the ends of the chain and adding extra strands for volume.
Using Amigurumi Chenille yarn #8069 (Matrix), embroider small lines on the trunk, feet, and hands.
