Instructions:

Chart 1 – Mug Cozy

With the Carmine yarn and the 5.0 mm hook, start with 30 ch. + 1 ch. to turn the work.

1- Start in the 2nd ch. from the hook, and work: 30 sc.

2 to 7- 1 ch., 30 sc.

Go up 19 ch., close with 1 sl st. on the side of the 1st row. Fasten off the yarn.

Join the Carmine yarn on the opposite side at the edge of the last row, go up 19 ch., close with 1 sl st on the side of the 1st row. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.

Embroidery:

Using a tapestry needle and the Brazilian Green and Canary yarns, embroider 3 pine trees following the embroidery diagram.

Chart 2 – Spoon Ornament

With the Canary yarn and the 7.0 mm hook, start with a magic ring.

1- Make 4 ch., start in the 2nd ch. from the hook: 1 sl st., 1 sc., * 1 sc. in the magic ring, go up 3 ch., start in the 2nd ch. from the hook: 1 sl st., 1 sc. *, repeat from * to * 3x more. Close with sl st. Fasten off the yarn and glue the ends.

Make 2 identical pieces.

Place one piece back to back with the other, sew the sides and the top, leaving the bottom open to fit onto the spoon.
