Instructions:
Rows 1 and 2:
Chain 62 (multiples of 6 + 2) and work dc across, totaling 61 dc. Turn your work and make 1 more row of dc.
Row 3:
Turn your work, chain 2, skip 2 stitches, and in the 3rd stitch, make 1 dc, 2 ch, and 1 dc. Chain 2, skip 2 stitches, and in the 3rd stitch, make 1 sc.
Repeat the pattern from * to * until the end of the row.
Row 4:
Chain 4 and inside the V-stitch, work: 2 dc closed together, 2 ch, 2 dc closed together, 2 ch, and 2 dc closed together. Chain 1, and in the next V-stitch, repeat: 3 groups of 2 dc closed together with 2 ch between each group. Continue this pattern until the end of the row. Finish with 1 tr (treble crochet) to end the row.
Row 5:
Turn your work, chain 4, and make 1 dc in the space between the 2 dc closed together, chain 1, 1 dc in the next space, chain 1, 1 dc in the next space, and continue this pattern until the end of the row.
Row 6:
Turn your work, chain 3, make 1 dc in the space, 1 dc on top of the dc from the previous row, and continue alternating until you have 61 dc in this row.
Row 7:
Turn your work, chain 3, and work a row of dc.
Row 8:
Repeat rows 3 to 7 until you reach a total length of 180 cm.
Accessory for wrapping: Start with 20 chains and follow the pattern from chart 2 until you have a total of 9 rows. Sew this motif with a tapestry needle about 35 cm from the end of the scarf.
