Execution
Transfer the motif patterns to tracing paper to use as a reference for making the piece. Note the arrows on the measurement chart indicating the work direction.
Front and back, upper part - Square: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and white Cléa yarn (double strand), and start the motif by making a magic ring. 1st rnd: 1 ch, 8 sc. On the 2nd rnd., continue following diag. 1, working in circular rnds. For the upper front part: 46 squares, and for the upper back: 46 squares, joined together with sl st. Join the shoulders over 3 squares (5 inches). Leave an opening of 5 squares on each side to form the armholes (7 inches).
Front and back, lower part: Work the front and back at once in circular rnd. in the fantasy st.: (A - 180 sts. per rnd.). Follow diag. 2 and the repeat sts. from the 1st to the 28th rnd. Change to the fantasy st.: (B - 180 sts. per rnd.). Follow diag. 3 and the repeat sts from the 1st to the 5th rnd. Fasten off.
Sleeve: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and white Cléa yarn (double strand), join the yarn at the edge of the armhole. Work. in circular rnd. in the fantasy st.: (A - 81 sts. per rnd.). Follow diag. 2 and the repeat sts. from the 1st to the 11th rnd. Change to the fantasy st.: (B - 81 sts. per rnd.). Follow diag. 3 and the repeat sts. from the 1st to the 5th rnd. Fasten off the yarn, and make the other sleeve in the same way.
Edging around the neckline: use a 3.0 mm crochet hook and white Cléa yarn (double), join the yarn at the neckline and work 1 rnd. of crab st.
