Instructions – Cropped Top – Front and Back – Work both together horizontally. Start with the back. Make a foundation chain of 23 sts. + 3 ch. to turn, and work in fantasy stitch following the chart. After 12 cm (approx. 4.75 inches) from the beginning, inc. on the right side, 6 sts. from the edge, in every row: 1 st. (13 x). At 40 cm (approx. 15.75 inches) from the beginning, dec. on the right side, 6 sts. from the edge, in every row: 1 st. (13 x). At 60 cm (approx. 23.6 inches) from the beginning, fasten off.
Panty – Front – Make a foundation chain of 16 sts. and work as follows: the first 10 sts. from the beginning of the fantasy stitch chart + the last 6 sts. from the end of the fantasy stitch chart. Work this way for 8 cm (approx. 3 inches). At this point, inc. on each side, 6 sts. from the edges, every 2 rows: 1 st. (3 x), and in every row: 1 st. (10 x). Once the increases are finished, work 10 rows only in the first 6 sts. and the last 6 sts. (V shape of the fantasy stitch). After finishing the 10 rows, fasten off.
Back – Use the same foundation ch. as the front and work in fantasy stitch as for the front. At 3 cm (approx. 1.2 inches) from the beginning of the back, inc. on each side, 6 sts. from the edges, in every row: 2 sts. (10 x), and every 2 rows: 2 sts. (3 x). Once the increases are finished, work 4 rows only in the first 6 sts. and the last 6 sts. (V shape of the fantasy stitch). After finishing the 4 rows, fasten off.
Finishing – Panty – Sew the sides together. Work around the waist in fantasy stitch, following the chart from * to *, for 2 cm (approx. 0.8 inches). Then, work 2 more rows in sc. around the entire waist and fasten off. Work the arch stitch around the leg openings, following the chart. Once the chart is finished, fasten off. Make the ruffle on both sides of the leg openings, following the chart. Attach a yarn to the red spot and work up to the other red spot on the chart. On each side, skip 5 sts. (2 x). Once the chart is finished, work the arch stitch along the ruffle, following the chart. When the chart is done, fasten off. Lining the panty.
Cropped Top – Work the arch stitch around the armholes, following the chart. Once the chart is finished, fasten off. Work the arch stitch along the bottom edge, the outer side of the straps, and the neckline, following the chart. Once the chart is finished, fasten off. Sew the buttons on the left edge of the back: The first and last buttons 1 cm (approx. 0.4 inch) from the edges, and the other two at regular intervals. Button on the arch stitch straps on the right edge. Lining the cropped top.
