Abbreviations: rnd: round, rnds: rounds, FO: fasten-off, MR: magic ring.
Crochet stitches used: ch: chain, slst: slip stitch, SC: single crochet, DC: double crochet, triangle: follow chart 1.
Gauge: granny triangle (chart. 1 – rows 1-3), with a 6.0 mm hook = 13 x 13 cm.
Execution
Square: use Nautico yarn in the color Ember and a 6.0 mm crochet hook. Start with a MR. 1st rnd: ch 5, {5 DC, ch 2}, repeat {} 1 more time, 4 DC, 1 slst to join the round. 2nd and 3rd rnds: continue following chart 1.
Front of the bag: you’re gonna need 6 triangles to create the front panel. Using Nautico yarn in the color Ember and a tapestry needle, join 3 triangles with running stitches. With the 6.0 mm hook, work 1 row of SC on the wider base of the panel. Cut the yarn and repeat this process one more time- you should have 2 equal pieces with 3 triangles each. Return to the tapestry needle and join both panels through the SC rows, using running stitches. FO and reserve the panel.
Back of the bag: same as the front.
Finishing and lining: using Nautico in the color Ember and a tapestry needle, join the front and back panels with running stitches- seam the sides and bottom and leave the top open (30 cm). Position the handles in the center of the opening edges and, using the 6.0 mm hook, attach it with 10 slsts. Attach the chain strap to the sides, using the carabiners.
Cut the fabric according to the measurements of your bag and seam it to the inside of the bag with running stitches, using Maxxi retrós in the color Carrot and a no. 2 sewing needle. Seam the magnetic button to the bag opening.
