Bag
Front section – Ch 42 + 1 ch to turn and work in sc. At 7.09" (18 cm) from the beginning, work only through the first 14 sts; leave the remaining sts on hold. Leave 2 sts unworked on the left in each row (7x) and fasten off. Work the other side in the same way, reversing the shaping. Once the shaping is finished, work 1 row of sc along both sides and the foundation edge, then fasten off.
Make the back of the bag in the same way as the front.

At this point, leave 1 st unworked on both sides of every row (5x). At 26.8" (68 cm) from the beginning, after finishing the shaping, work 1 rnd of sc all around and fasten off.
Coin Purse
Ch 9 + 1 ch to turn and work 9 rows in sc. Next, work 2 rows of sc along both sides and the foundation edge, then fasten off. Make 2 pieces.
