Stitches used:

• Chain (ch)

• Single crochet (sc)

• Double crochet (dc)

• Slip stitch (sl st)

Cuff
The cuff measures approximately 5 cm in height.
Make 8 ch. Skip 1 ch and work 7 sc back.
Turn the work, make 1 ch, and work sc in the back loop only (BLO) across.
Repeat this row until the piece measures about 15 cm in length, or the circumference of your wrist.

Glove pattern
Work 1 round of sc, distributing the stitches evenly until you have a multiple of 6.
In this pattern: 24 sc. Join with sl st.

Round 1
Ch 2 (place a stitch marker). Work 2 dc in the same stitch.
Skip 2 base stitches, work 1 sc; skip 2 base stitches, work 5 dc in the same stitch.
Repeat this pattern to the end of the round.In the last space, work 2 dc to complete the initial set of 5 dc.
Join with sc into the 2nd starting ch. At the end of this round, you will have 4 sets of 5 dc.

Round 2
Ch 1. Work 5 dc over each sc from the previous round. Work 1 sc into the 3rd dc of each 5-dc set from the previous round.
Join with sl st in the starting ch.

Round 3
Ch 2 and work 2 dc in the same stitch. Follow the pattern: 5 dc – 1 sc – 5 dc – 1 sc.
At the end of the round, work the remaining 2 dc to complete the set.
Join with sl st in the 2nd starting ch.

Round 4
Repeat Round 2.

Thumb
Two increase rounds will be worked, adding one extra set in each round.

1st increase round
Ch 2 and work 2 dc. In the 3rd dc of the previous round, work: 1 sc – 5 dc – 1 sc.
In the next sc, work 5 dc. Continue with the regular pattern: 1 sc – 5 dc – 1 sc.
Finish the round with 2 dc to complete the 5-dc set.

2nd increase round
Ch 1. In the next sc, work 5 dc. Over the next 3rd dc, work: 5 dc.
In the next sc, work 5 dc. Continue the regular pattern: 1 sc – 5 dc – 1 sc.
Join with sl st in the starting ch.

Thumb closure round
Skip 10 dc corresponding to the thumb opening and join with sl st. Ch 2 and work 2 dc in the same stitch. Continue the pattern: 1 sc – 5 dc – 1 sc.
Finish with 2 dc.

Following rounds
Work 3 more rounds, following the glove pattern.

Finishing
Work 1 round of sl st all around for finishing. Cut the yarn and fasten off.
