Size: S (36 EU)
Instructions
With 5 mm hook, ch 21 (height of bust).
Turn, work 1 row of sc starting in the 2nd ch from the hook.
Then repeat the following pattern until you reach the full bust circumference:
Repeat these two rows until the desired width is reached.
End with a row of sl st, leave a long tail and cut the yarn.
Using a tapestry needle, sew the ends together (seam the back) with the wrong sides facing.
With the right side facing, work 1 round of dc along one edge of the top.
Join with a sl st.
1st round (fan pattern):
Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in same st, ch 2, 2 dc in the same st (first fan made).
Ch 1, skip 3 sts, in the next st: 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc — repeat from * to * around.
Join with sl st.
2nd and 3rd rounds:
Work fan into fan, now using this pattern: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc).
Between each fan, ch 2.
Join with sl st at the end of each round.
From the 4th round on:
Keep the same structure, but increase the space between fans to ch 3.
Continue until the desired length is reached (this model goes up to Round 7).
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Use a measuring tape to mark 20 cm between the front strap points with stitch markers. Repeat on the back side.
With 4 mm hook, start the strap at one of the marked points:
Ch 3 attached to the top edge.
Turn, work 3 sc.
Turn again, work another 3 sc.
Continue working 3 sc per row until the strap measures about 36 cm.
Attach the end of the strap with a sl st to the corresponding back marker.
Repeat the same process for the second strap.
