Gauge: A 3.94″ (10 cm) square in Stitch Pattern 2 following the corresponding chart and using a B-1 (2.0 mm) hook = 22 sts x 12 rows.
Instructions:
Back/Front
Start with the shoulders. Using yarn #8176 (Off-White) and B-1 (2.0 mm) hook, ch 56 + the turning chains indicated on row 5. Work Stitch Pattern 1 following the chart; start at row 5 and work from * to * (2 times). At 7.48″ (19 cm) from the beginning, leave the work on hold. Work the other side in the same way. Once you finish both back sides, work the front section as follows: Using yarn #8176 (Off-White) and B-1 (2.0 mm) hook, join the yarn to the 1st row of one of the back sides and work Stitch Pattern 1 following the chart; start at row 5 and work from * to * only once. At 2.76″ (7 cm) from the beginning of the front section, leave the work on hold. Work the other side of the front section in the same way. Once you finish both sides of the front section, ch 56 between the 2 sections to form the neckline. Work Stitch Pattern 1 along all the sts and ch following the chart; repeat from * to * (4 times). At 7.48″ (19 cm) from the beginning of the front section, work Stitch Pattern 1 across both front and back in back-and-forth rows, following the chart. To join the 2 parts, ch 3 between them. Work Stitch Pattern 1 following the chart; repeat from * to * (8 times). At 11.8″ (30 cm) from the beginning of the work, close into a ring with 1 sl st. At the same time, inc 28 sts in the 1st rnd and work from * to * (9 times). Close all rnds. At 26.4″ (67 cm) from the beginning, work as follows: 3.15″ (8 cm) in Stitch Pattern 2 from * to * (40 times); 8.66″ (22 cm) in Stitch Pattern 1 from * to * (8 times); 3.15″ (8 cm) in Stitch Pattern 2 from * to * (40 times); 3.94″ (10 cm) in Stitch Pattern 1 from * to * (8 times); 3.15″ (8 cm) in Stitch Pattern 2 from * to * (40 times); 3.15″ (8 cm) in Stitch Pattern 1 from * to * (8 times); then work 1 rnd of sc all around and fasten off.
Sleeves
Using yarn #8176 (Off-White) and B-1 (2.0 mm) hook, work the sleeve directly into the armhole in Stitch Pattern 1. Work from * to * once to start, centering the st. Inc 2 sts on each side every row until the armhole (7 times). At this point, close into a ring with 1 sl st and continue in Stitch Pattern 1 following the chart. At 10.6″ (27 cm) from the beginning of the sleeve, work 1 rnd of sc all around and fasten off. Work both sleeves in the same way.
Finishing
Using yarn #8176 (Off-White) and B-1 (2.0 mm) hook, work 1 rnd of sc all around the neckline and back opening then fasten off. Sew the zipper to the back opening. Sew the hook-and-eye closure at the ends of the neckline.
